Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Gainer
Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Gainer is built on a foundation of complete dairy proteins, mostly from isolate sources. The carbohydrate blend includes oat, pea and potato and the fats include medium chain triglycerides, chia and flax. The protein blend contains a mixture of high quality fast and slow digesting proteins. Now this all sounds good on paper, but what does it mean for the person consuming the product? The inclusion of real food sources means this product will digest better and as a result, you will feel better too. Obviously, this is not your typical gainer formula. ON took it a step further by making it easy to mix up in a shaker cup. No blender needed. This is the new Gold Standard for weight gain.
Key Ingredients
Protein Blend of whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate, milk protein isolate and hydrolysed whey provides a complete amino acid profile. The hydrolysed whey in particular absorbs rapidly for better digestion and faster absorption.
Carbohydrate Blend of oats, peas and potato allows multiple sources to be utilised which provides variability in micronutrients. Some mass gainers can be packed with nasty fillers and plenty of sugar but with these real ingredients, you can be sure that you are putting a great product into your body.
Indications
- A better choice over a normal whey protein for those struggling to gain weight
- Can be used as a meal replacement if you are short on time
- Contains real food ingredients which aids digestion and absorption

Directions of Use
Mix 2 scoops with 400-500mls of water or milk (milk is recommended as it contains calories) depending on your desired consistency and taste. We recommend starting with half a serve of this product initially and assess whether or not your weight is moving up before progressing to the full serve. This will ensure you are building up your calories gradually and not increasing them too much too quickly.
