Can I use ice in the 6 pack bag?

No. The 6 Pack Bags are not coolers. 6 Pack Bags come with Gel Packs which are designed to slot into the inner core of the Innovators and Mini. The Gel Packs keep together with the ice box technology keeps your bags cool and food fresh without the mess from melting ice.

How do I wash and care for my containers?

Sure Seal containers are both freezer and microwave safe and are BPA and PVC free. Hand washing your containers will increase their lifespan. You can also wash them in a dishwasher but they must be placed on the top rack only. If the containers become stained from food or other substances, make a paste of baking soda and warm water and leave it in your container over night. This should return them to new by the morning. If the containers have an odour, use some vinegar and scrub clean. The Sure Seal containers are microwave safe, however it is recommended that you pack a microwave safe plate in your 6 Pack Bag to transfer your food from the container to the plate prior to heating. If you do wish to microwave the containers, keep the heating time to a minimum and remover the lid prior to heating. Heating the lids will make them warp, and once they warp they will no longer be functional.
