Key Switch Nutrition Amino Switch Ingredients
Leucine
Leucine is the amino acid that is responsible for activating mTOR which is the protein that then induces muscle protein synthesis and is therefore very important for muscle growth. Leucine can also be very valuable for people who have lower dietary protein intakes as it can assist them with muscle gain.

It’s also known to improve cognitive function by formulating a compound that protects the brain cells. One serving of Amino Switch contains 171mgs of Histidine.
Lysine
Lysine is a non-essential amino acid that increases muscle strength and helps repair muscles. It’s also been shown to help the body produce infection-fighting antibodies and tissues. Each serving of Amino Switch contains 555 milligrams of Lysine.

What’s better – essential amino acid or whey protein?
It depends on what you are using the supplement for. Amino acids and whey proteins both provide the body with protein. However, whey proteins contain calories, whereas amino acids don’t. Calories can help provide energy after a workout, but they can also contribute to weight gain. Because of its calorie content, whey protein can be used as a meal replacement, while essential amino acids can’t.
Can a pregnant woman take Amino Switch?
While Amino Switch is made from all natural ingredients, there are few studies into how amino acids affect pregnancy. For this reason, we don’t recommend that pregnant or lactating women consume Amino Switch. We would always recommend pregnant women to check with their doctors or nutritionist before starting a new supplement or nutritional strategy.
